MISCAST AGAIN

Thu 5 – Sat 7 March 2026

Ever wondered what happens when the diva sings the villain’s song, the prince takes on the princess, or the chorus kid steals the spotlight?

This riotous role-reversal cabaret flips Broadway on its head and dares performers to belt, dance, and ham it up in parts they were never meant to play

Expect big laughs, bigger notes, and the kind of musical chaos you’ll be talking about long after the curtain falls.

Founded in 1926, the Portsmouth Players have been at the heart of the city’s theatrical life for nearly a century. Since our debut production of The Gondoliers in 1927, we’ve brought a vibrant mix of beloved classics and bold contemporary musicals to life—delighting audiences and nurturing talent across generations.

We stage high-quality productions at some of Portsmouth’s most iconic venues, including the Kings Theatre, Theatre Royal and our very own studio theatre at The Barn, Milton Park.
